Besides playing an overachieving powerhouse on Glee, Lea Michele plans to write a memoir and how-to-guide titled Brunette Ambition.
According to USA Today, the starlet signed a deal with Harmony Books to churn out a book next spring.
The book will take readers behind intimate scenes as Michele recounts her rise to fame from a girl from Bronx to Broadway star to starring on Glee. Not only will she be sharing her story, the book will offer “practical advice and lessons,” New York Times reported.
Michele revealed in a statement, “There wasn’t a guidebook when I was growing up, that detailed everything I would need to do, and know, to get where I am today. But I believe I can write one of sorts: not a how-to-make-it-in-show-business book, but a guide to harnessing tenacity, passion, enthusiasm, and hard work to make your dreams come true.”
The third star from Glee to publish a book, Michele follows Chris Colfer and Jenna Ushkowitz. Colfer published a children’s fantasy novel titled The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell while Ushkowtiz recently published a book titled Choosing Glee: 10 Rules to Finding Inspiration, Happiness and the Real You.
