Taylor Swift mocks Justin Bieber backstage at the Billboard Music Awards

After winning eight awards at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift stuck her tongue out in mockery as close friend Selena Gomez shared a moment backstage with Justin Bieber.

Gomez and Bieber dated on and off for a couple years, but officially split this past New Years. They have been photographed together but claim to just be on friendly terms.

According to The LA Times, Gomez and Swift were walking backstage together at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas where they bumped into Bieber. Gomez approached the “Boyfriend” singer and the winner of The Top Milestone of the Year Award, and gave him a hug and a peck on the cheek.

According to Mail Online however, it seemed more like a friendly exchange between the two rather than rekindling romance.

As Swift passed the presumably friendly exchange between Gomez and Bieber, she stuck her tongue out and scrunched up her face. Clearly disapproving the relationship between her friend and Bieber, backstage footage was caught of Swift’s reaction and the video went viral.
