Topless protesters ambush Heidi Klum during ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ finale

Heidi Klum was back in her native Germany to host the live finale of Germany’s Next Top Model, but the event didn’t go as planned. Topless protesters ambushed her on the stage with a strange message for Klum on their bodies.

Two women rushed onto the catwalk just after Klum had kissed a robot on stilts and Robin Thicke performed a live version of his famous “Blurred Lines” video with finalists, reports Business Insider. Just before Klum was about to announce the winner, the woman jumped on the stage. They each had “Heidi Horror Picture Show” written on their upper bodies.

According to Us Weekly, the women were part of the group FEMEN, an international protest group that fights for equal women’s rights. While the broadcast was live, it was tape delayed long enough that the scene could be edited out.

“I have just been seeing boobies in front of me. Too bad it happened at this special moment!” Klum told the crowd after security took them offstage.

Klum didn’t say anything further about the incident on Twitter. She tweeted a picture of herself with Bruno Mars, who performed during the show. She also posted a picture of herself with the winner, who turned out to be Lovelyn, 16, of Hamburg.

Klum is one of the new judges on NBC’s America’s Got Talent this summer.
