Amanda Bynes claims her behavior is all an act for attention, says 'I know what I am doing'

Amanda Bynes is either in deep denial or a very talented actress because she told her close friend, Jonathan Jaxson, that her bizarre behavior is all a clever ploy to gain attention and Twitter followers.

Jaxson took to Twitter and posted a text conversation he had with Bynes during which she insisted that her Twitter rants, extreme make-overs, and her recent drug arrest were carefully facilitated, reports the Daily Mail.

Bynes wrote, “All this has been an act and you know it! I am an actress and know what I am doing.”

Jaxson replied, “Seriously? I mean don’t you know that drugs were a part of it and you may also have something mentally wrong?”

Bynes: “I got to 2 million followers and now everyone wants me. I am smart and not stupid. Everyone mentions my name. The world loves me!”

Naturally, Jaxson was frustrated by Bynes’ revelation.

Those following the Bynes saga may recall that Jaxson is the friend who claimed he called the police on May 23, the day Bynes was arrested for throwing a bong out of her apartment window.

Jaxson told Radar Online, “I got police to be able to go to her home…I had proof she was suicidal. There were text messages and other things. I repeated all of this to the NYPD and they took it seriously.”

At the time, Jaxson believed her arrest was a “successful intervention” and that Bynes would finally receive proper medical care.

But it is clear that Bynes isn’t as concerned about her destructive behavior as her estranged friends and family.

Since her arrest, Bynes has gone back to verbally assaulting celebrities on Twitter including Miley Cyrus, Drake, Lance Bass, Rihanna, Christine Teigan, and RuPaul, we have reported.

Jaxson texted to Bynes, “Amanda you really just must watch what you say, that is my only advice. You are discriminating and have people worried!”

Bynes replied, “Just wait and the world will see!”
