Jacksonville Jaguars announce major upgrades to Everbank Field

The Jacksonville Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville agreed on terms for a new deal this past Wednesday that will begin the process of a $63 million renovation plan to make major enhancements to Everbank Field. These enhancements will include two new video scoreboards, which will be the largest of any team in the NFL.

Along with improving the scoreboards, the plan also includes renovations to the north end zone. These renovations are being done with the intention to make Everbank Field one of the top places to experience an NFL game as well as show everyone that Jacksonville is an excellent place to see an NFL game.

The owner of the Jaguars, Shad Khan, has been responsible for all of these upgrades that have been taking place in Jacksonville. The announcement of this new deal with the city of Jacksonville shows how much Khan cares about this team. Khan has funded $10-15 million in stadium upgrades that have included new training facilities and weight rooms as well as a new locker room.

There have been rumors going around the league for a couple years now about the possibility of the Jaguars franchise was being moved to another city or even possibly taking the team overseas to London. The announcement of these major renovations to the stadium will put an end to the rumors that have been upsetting Jaguar fans for the past few seasons. The city of Jacksonville is very excited to help with these renovations, which will make Jacksonville a destination for major events in the future.

I know that the city of Jacksonville is excited for all of these upgrades to their stadium. This is helping to create excitement and anticipation for the upcoming NFL season this fall.
