Throwback Thursday took a surprising turn when Jessica Simpson tweeted “the ultimate” with a link to a video of her in high school performing “The Mirror and the Music” from the popular musical A Chorus Line.
Simpson, now 32 and a mother of one with another baby on the way, is dressed in a tight red leotard and high-waisted black pants and she flawlessly dances and sings her way across the stage. According to US Magazine Simpson never finished her high school career due to the fact that she caught the eye of Tommy Mottola, a Columbia Records’ executive producer, and we can see why in this video. Even at such a young age it was clear that Simpson had talent.
While Simpson has taken a step back from her music career, she had revealed to Jay Leno on his show that she would be starring as herself in NBC sitcom that would be based on her own life.
