Nigella Lawson, the British celebrity chef who was pictured being choked by her art collector husband Charles Saatchi, has reportedly moved out of their home.
Last week, Saatchi was questioned by police after photos that appeared to show him grabbing Lawson’s throat during a heated argument between the two were published by The Mirror tabloid.
Saatchi later downplayed the photos, saying that they caught the couple in the middle of a “playful tiff.” In a statement to the Evening Standard, he claimed, “The pictures are horrific but give a far more drastic and violent impression of what took place. Nigella's tears were because we both hate arguing, not because she had been hurt.”
Now The U.K. Sun has published photos of movers taking Lawson’s belongings out of their £12 million in London. “It really does seem the end,” a friend of Lawson’s told the paper.
According to E! News, some of the things being taken out of the home included a guitar, fitness equipment, cookbooks and utensils.
Saatchi and Lawson have been married for ten years. Lawson was a judge on The Taste in the U.S.
