Taylor swift is on top of her fragrance game, dominating 2013 Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City last night.
Along with performers Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, Swift was nominated last night by the 2013 Fragrance Foundation (FI FI), according to MTV Style. She was nominated for her previous scent, Wonderstruck Enchanted, which she won Best Market Launch for, and was presented the award for Fragrance Celebrity of the Year.
At the FiFi awards, Swift wore a stunning white Emilio Pucci gown with a halterneck and sheer cutout panel in the front. Her Lorraine Schwartz jewels, loose top bun, and two-tone make up gave the 23-year-old singer a much more glamorous and adult look than in the past.
The country-pop star also used the opportunity to campaign for her new perfume, Taylor by Taylor Swift, due out later this month. According to People, Swift believes her third fragrance really represents her as an artist.
“For me, it’s sort of who I am and embodies my personality and my style,” Swift said about her new perfume.
She believes that while Wonderstruck and Wonderstruck Enchanted were more “day-dreamy, romantic kind-of departure, in a kind of a dream land,” her new fragrance is representative of her evolution as a musician.
“There’s been sort of a progression between fantasy and reality, and I think this perfume just really follows that progression,” Swift said. “It would take place in my day-to-day life if that makes sense."
Fans will have to see if her Swift's new fragrance reflects the immersion of fantasy and reality in her love life as well.
