Aaron Hernandez removed from EA games set to release soon

EA Sports, big name game maker has made the decision to discontinue use of former Patriot Aaron Hernandez from its future games. With new releases coming soon and Hernandez’s recent arrest EA’s decision will slightly change the game.

Over at ESPN Boston Field Yates reported, EA spokesman said “An image of Hernandez on a card appears in "NCAA Football 14" as a Nike Skills Trainer reward for an achievement, but the company spokesperson added that the image will soon be removed.” From an article over at Game Spot, readers are told that the image of Hernandez that does appear will soon be removed via Title Update.
“NCAA Football 14” will be released to the public tomorrow July 9, 2013. With this decision being made after the game’s production one can understand why the change will come after the game's release but don’t expect to see Hernandez in EA’s NFL 25 set to debut on August 27, 2013.

The former Florida Gator star and Patriot’s tight end was arrested on June 26 and is now being held for six different charges one being first-degree murder.
