We’re The Millers actress Emma Roberts was arrested in Canada on domestic violence charges following an altercation with her boyfriend.
TMZ reports that Roberts was arrested July 7 after an altercation between her and her longtime beau, Evan Peters, ensued. Roberts was arrested in Montreal after someone called the police stating that there was an altercation occurring in their room.
When police arrived, Roberts was immediately arrested after seeing Peters with both bite marks and a bloody nose. She was released shortly thereafter as her beau did not want to press charges.
Roberts has since gone to court and was let off as no charges were pressed, The Hollywood Reporter notes.
“That woman was brought to court, and no charges were pressed on her,” Motreal Police spokesman Laurent Gingras. Officials have not officially released the 22-year-old actress’ name.
A rep for the actress and her American Horror Story boyfriend have not released a statement following the alleged altercation. The couple are still together.
