"General Hospital” weekly recap - 7/1/ - 7/5

At GH, Elizabeth got flowers and apology note from AJ. She then asked another nurse to cover for her.

Shawn went over to Alexis' house to tell her that he didn't shoot Olivia. Alexis still wasn't happy about Shawn shooting people for hire. He replied about the double standard referring to her having had a relationship with Sonny. She defended Sonny to Shawn but said that she still loved him. He didn't want to throw away what they had so Alexis gave him an ultimatum, they could stay together if he quit working for Sonny. Shawn agreed on one condition...that Alexis stopped working for him too. Alexis then explained her moral reasons for representing him, which Shawn didn't object to. Shawn then said he loved her, agreed to her terms and they kissed.

At the Quartermaine's, Kiki waited for Morgan and wondered what her parents were talking about. In the living room, Carly denied being involved in the botched hit on Franco. Franco replied that he knew she was responsible and threatened to tell Morgan unless she let him stay there with Kiki. Carly then shoved that day's paper at him to show him that the police knew there was a second shooter. Franco suggested that she hired two shooters. Carly then reiterated that she didn't want Franco to endanger Morgan. He promised that he wouldn't and that he only wanted the best for Kiki. Then, Carly said that she didn't care what he thought as long as the police knew she was innocent. Ava then chimed in and asked Carly if she cared what Morgan thought. Carly then yelled at Ava for not calling her when Morgan was in trouble. Ava replied by telling Carly that Morgan told her that he felt he was banished from his family when he was sent to boarding school for his own "protection" and said that Carly was a hypocrite. To separate the women, Franco called Morgan and Kiki into the living room saying that Carly had made a decision. Put on the spot, Carly said Morgan could stay but Morgan wondered what they had on her. Ava tried to cover for Carly by saying that she had convinced Carly that Kiki and Morgan were serious and that Franco was a changed man. Morgan thanked Carly before leaving with Kiki. Once they were gone, Carly promised Franco and Ava that she would find out what game they were playing and that they should watch out. After she left, Ava was pleased with herself until Franco told her that he thought she was the second shooter.

Nikolas and Laura waited for Lulu at Kelly's. When she arrived, she teased them that she knew the sex of the baby, but eventually told them that they could shop for pink. Nikolas then told Lulu that he thought she was going to make a great mother. Lulu then told him how much she loved him and that she was responsible for him getting shot because she refused to sleep with Stavros. Nikolas replied that she shouldn't feel guilty over Stavros' actions. He then left the table when Elizabeth came in. Once alone, Lulu told Laura that she was worried about what Luke didn't say when she told him about the baby. They told each other what they each knew about Tracy's health and concluded that Tracy was covering for Luke. At another table, Elizabeth gave Nikolas back his phone and said she wished she'd never heard the recording. She then asked him why he didn't tell her about AJ sleeping with Carly when they weren't together. Nikolas replied that he didn't know but Elizabeth thought he left that out on purpose.

At ELQ, Michael told AJ that he saw Kiki topless and that he wanted him to send him out of the country so he could keep away from her. AJ refused and told Michael that he needed him nit just because he was his son but because he was his only friend. He then said that Elizabeth found out he slept with Carly and Michael spat out his water when he heard. AJ explained what happened and promised Michael that it would never happen again. He then added that he hoped Elizabeth wasn't talking to Nikolas about whether or not she was going to forgive him.

In his hotel room, Tracy interrupted Luke packing and said she wanted to come with him since the 88 million she gave Jerry was at stake. Luke told her that he was a dead man and that he had more to lose than her. Tracy replied that she wanted to save Luke's life, but Luke said she should stay in town to make sure AJ didn't steal ELQ from her. She replied that the company doesn't "infuriate and dazzle me like you do" and reminded him that they were "partners in crime." Luke then agreed to let her come along and told her to go pack. When she left, Luke began writing a letter. When Tracy returned, she found Luke was gone but left her a note, which read he had to do what he had to alone and he "would catch you on the flipside." Then, there was a knick at the door. Tracy opened the door to find Lulu and Laura.

Back at the Quartermaine's, Franco told Ava that he wasn't convinced that Carly hired both shooters and said he thought she was the second shooter. She tried to convince him otherwise then called him delusional. Franco then asked Ava what she thought Sonny would do when he found out she shot Olivia. Ava denied doing anything wrong and doubted that Sonny would believe Franco over her. Franco replied that she was "just" an art dealer as much as he was "just" an artist. Ava was tempted to prove she was responsible and had motive to kill him. He told him that he knew that she didn't think it through and then they reflected on their past and Ava remembered when he was happy. Franco replied that he was happy that they were back together and hoped she wouldn't mess it up. Then, she in invited him to bed so they would like a real couple.

At GH, Connie couldn't wait to take Olivia home but focus told her that Sonny offered to let her stay at his house to recover. Connie got upset but Olivia told her that she couldn't turn down Sonny's offer since he felt responsible for her getting shot. Connie thought that wasn't logical and told Olivia to call Sonny and tell him there had been a change of plans. Olivia didn't want to put Connie out and knew Sonny was getting his house ready for her. Connie then told Olivia to confess that she really wanted to stay with Sonny but Olivia assured Connie that there was nothing going on between her and Sonny. Connie then decided that Olivia shouldn't refuse Sonny's invitation and that she had no problem with Olivia staying with him.

At his house, Sonny gave Max and Milo orders to get the house ready for Olivia's arrival. Milo then asked Sonny if he should get his room ready for Olivia. Sonny wasn't amused then yelled at Milo for his bad choices regarding Lulu. It escalated into an argument but then Max reminded Milo that loyalty was paramount as an employee of Sonny's. Sonny then told Max to get whoever was at the door. When he returned with Carly, who was at the door, Max tried his best to apologize to Sonny for Milo. Once alone with Sonny, Carly mentioned Olivia's recovery and how they were off the hook for her shooting. He replied that the issue was a moot point now. Carly wondered what made him promise to kill her if Olivia died and she surmised that Sonny must love Olivia too. Sonny then told Carly that he wanted her in his life but that she knew never to cross him again. They then apologized to each other and hugged. Carly then told Sonny that she was still concerned about Franco since Morgan was now living with him. Sonny replied that he would take care of it.

Tracy told Laura and Lulu that Luke was gone when they showed up at his Metro Court hotel room. Tracy reiterated that she was in perfect health even when Lulu said she thought the tests were more serious. Then, Laura said that they thought that Luke was the one who was really sick, but Tracy stuck to her story and said that both she and Luke were fine. Lulu was thankful and hugged Tracy but Laura warned her that if she was covering for Luke, she was making a mistake.

Elizabeth went to see AJ at ELQ. He was said he was happy to see her unless she was there to break up with him for good. She told him that she was ready to talk about where they were headed post-Carly and said she wanted to give him a second chance. She added that she knows he's changed, that she should take a chance on him even if she got hurt because it's the same chance he would be taking with her. He then asked her if she was forgiving him but Elizabeth said there was nothing to forgive. He was ecstatic that she wanted to try again and they sealed it with a kiss. AJ then promised not to make any more mistakes and Elizabeth said she'd let Nikolas know they were back together. Then, AJ called Monica to tell her the good news.

At Kelly's, Nikolas played the recording again then deleted it. Then, Lucy joined him before he could leave and told him that she was there to make him an offer he couldn't refuse. She then flashed him a Deception binder but he didn't see where it would fit in his portfolio. She yelled at him for supporting Tracy's relish but Nikolas said that he didn't have any more faith in her than he did in Tracy. Lucy then asked him if he had faith in his mother. Nikolas was surprised when she told him about their partnership. She then begged him to think of Laura and was sure he would support them. Nearby, Max told Milo that he needed to do what Sonny told him to do or he would lose his job. Milo replied that maybe he didn't want to work for Sonny anymore. Then, Lucy interrupted them and once they were alone, she told him that she might have found his calling and handed him a Deception business card. Max asked what that was about when she left but he replied, "Nothing." Then, Elizabeth arrived to tell Nikolas that she was back with AJ.

Max and Milo helped Sonny bring Olivia to his house. Milo got a call from Lucy asking if he reconsidered her offer for him to be the head fitness director at the Deception spa. Inside Sonny's house, Olivia didn't want him to go to the trouble of ordering lunch. He then out his hand on hers and reminded her that he was going to take care of her. She pulled her hand away and told him that Connie may be jealous. When Sonny replied that Connie shouldn't be since there was nothing romantic going on between them, Olivia hid her disappointment. Outside, Max yelled at Milo to get his mind back on his job. Milo then told Max that Lucy offered him a job. Max replied that he didn't think Milo was cut out for anything, which was why he got him the job with Sonny as a favor to their father. Milo then walked away hurt that Max and their father thought so little of him.

In their apartment, Sabrina and Felix were confused by Britt's test results. Britt's replied, "Believe it" and said that her and her baby weren't going anywhere. Then, they wondered why she wasn't in her wheelchair and she said she was feeling better knowing the results of the paternity test. Then, Taylor woke up, found out the paternity test went Britt's way and said Felix and Sabrina should apologize to Britt. They refused to do so and left. Once alone with Britt, Taylor admitted to being dumped by TJ and "accidentally" telling Molly they had sex. Britt commended Taylor then high-fived her. She then got Taylor thinking she could seal the deal with TJ by being his shoulder to cry on over Molly.

At Kelly's, Shawn was surprised TJ wasn't going over to Alexis'. He then told Shawn that Molly broke up with him again because he didn't tell her that he slept with Taylor before she offered the "clean slate." Shawn replied that he should fight for Molly. Later, Felix met with Lucy, who offered him a job as head nurse at the Deception spas. He said he wasn't interested. Milo overheard Milo say that he wished that everyone loved their job like he did. Then, Milo interrupted them and told Lucy he would take the job as fitness director. Lucy was ecstatic. At the counter, TJ wondered aloud how he could make things right. Felix replied, "I'd like to know that too." Then, Taylor arrived and told Felix that she could handle it. Once they were alone, TJ apologized to her and she said that he could make it up to her by spending the holidays with her.

Mac and Felicia joined Patrick and Emma in the park. They gave Emma a baby doll as a present but she threw it on the ground and screamed, "I don't want a baby!!!" She was inconsolable about not wanting a new brother or sister until Sabrina arrived. Sabrina calmed her down and told her that they would both love Britt's baby because it was a part of Patrick. Emma then apologized to Mac and Felicia and accepted the baby doll. When they were alone, Sabrina told Patrick that everything she said was true and that she would love the baby as much as loved him. They were kissing when Emma said, "Ewwww" when Britt arrived.

At home, Alexis was staring out the window when Molly asked her if Shawn was coming over. She replied that she hoped he'd be there soon with TJ. Molly was surprised that TJ was coming and Rafe Jr. realized that Molly hadn't told Alexis that TJ slept with Taylor. Molly then told Rafe Jr. that she didn't blame him for the kiss and was certain that Taylor had it out for her. Molly also said that she was beginning to think that TJ and Taylor deserved each other. Meanwhile, Michael came over because Alexis asked him to and asked him for help finding a bone marrow donor for Danny. She asked him to talk to Kiki about getting tested as a possible donor since she heard that she and Michael were close. Michael told Alexis that he was sorry but he couldn't talk to Kiki. He was surprised when he said she understood and how it must be hard going back to the Quartermaine's since Franco's return dredged up memories of the rape. Michael said it wasn't that then offered to call Kiki. Alexis said it was something that he needed to ask her in person. Later, Alexis asked Molly if she was okay. She said that she was and left Alexis waiting for Shawn.

Morgan led Kiki to the Quartermaine pool house blindfolded. When he took off the blindfold, she saw a shabby-chic furnished renovated pool house with a bed. Morgan told her that he fixed it up for them so she wouldn’t have to live with her parents and they wouldn’t have to go back to Michael’s apartment. Then they decided to “christen” their new living arrangements. Morgan decided to get kinky and put the blindfold back on Kiki then he started kissing her all over. But, Kiki began fantasizing about Michael while Morgan was kissing her and yelled, “This is wrong” and took off the blindfold. Then, instead, Morgan tied her up with it but then left her tied up while he went to get some whipped cream to spice it up even further. Then, Michael arrived, practicing how to ask Kiki to be tested as a possible donor for Danny. He then entered the pool house when Kiki said, “Come in” and found Kiki tied up.

Shawn went to see Sonny at his house. He was all ready to tell Sonny that he was quitting as his hitman when Milo came in with Olivia’s lunch and said to Sonny, “Boss, I quit.” He then told Sonny that he had different dreams and didn’t “have the work in my blood” like Shawn does. Sonny then wished Milo well but cautioned him to remember his loyalty. When Max came downstairs, he dragged Milo outside when he heard he just quit. Sonny told Shawn that he knew that Milo wasn’t right for the business. “Like me?” replied Shawn. Sonny then asked Shawn what he wanted to tell him before Milo came in. Shawn just apologized for the botched hit on Franco and left. Once he was alone, Sonny smiled at a picture of him, Max and Milo. Outside, Max confronted Milo, but he told him that he had made up his mind about quitting despite Max’s objections. Inside, Olivia found Sonny and asked him if anything was wrong. He told her how happy he was that she was there, that Milo just quit and that he was afraid that Shawn was going to quit too. Olivia told him that everything would be okay and was excited when Sonny told her he had arranged for them to see the fireworks from his deck. He then reminded her of a past Fourth of July they had spent together and kissed her on the deck.

At home, Alexis was preparing an intimate dinner for her and Shawn when Nikolas showed up. He offered to be tested as a possible bone marrow donor for Danny. He wondered if she was planning a breakup dinner but she told him that she made Shawn choose between working for Sonny and being with her. She added that he chose being with her and was telling Sony that he quit even as they spoke. Nikolas then told Alexis that Elizabeth went back with AJ despite the recording. When Shawn arrived, Nikolas said hello as he left. Alexis thought something was wrong and thought Sonny was mad when Shawn quit but Shawn told her that Milo quit before he could and said some things that made him realize that he couldn’t quit. “It’s more than killing, it’s about protecting the people that I love,” Shawn told Alexis. Then, he asked her if she could just let it go. She replied that she couldn’t. He then said that he loved her but it wasn’t enough for him.

At the park, when Britt showed up unexpectedly, Patrick reminded her that she was on bed rest. She said she wanted to celebrate the holiday with someone. Then, Patrick invited her to join them. Britt then bit into a burger, forgoing her vegetarianism for the baby’s sake. Emma didn’t like Britt was there but Sabrina reminded her about being a “big girl.” She then suggested that Emma share her new baby doll, which Emma named Ariel, with Britt to help her practice being a mom. Emma then offered Britt the doll and said it did everything a real baby does. Britt freaked out when the baby doll wet itself and threw it into the air. It landed on the grill and caught fire. Mac and Patrick put out the fire. Emma blamed Britt for the charred doll. Patrick and Sabrina told her that baby doll Ariel was in heaven and Emma asked if she was with her mother there. They said she was. Sabrina hoped Britt would be more maternal with the real thing and helped Emma and Patrick bury the doll. Britt apologized to Patrick and promised to be a good mother before leaving.

Elsewhere in the park, AJ started up a portable grill before Elizabeth presented him with a “Kiss the cook” apron. He told her that he enjoyed spending time with her and her kids and reflected on the time he had missed when Michael was little. He told her that he wanted to be a good father and hoped to help Michael through the tough time he was having. Elizabeth then told AJ that he was being too hard on himself and offered him some parenting advice. She then shared her own regrets and about wanting to have a man in Aiden’s life. Meanwhile, in another part of the park, Nikolas lost Spencer, who ran down a path. Milo caught him and told Nikolas that he quit working for Sonny. Then, Nikolas joked about Sonny needing a mob temp agency.

Michael started to call the police when he found Kiki tied up at the pool house. She stopped him from doing so by telling him it was a sex game she and Morgan were playing. Michael found it degrading and leaned over her to untie her, bringing them face-to-face. That was when Morgan returned and yelled at Michael, who yelled at Morgan for leaving Kiki tied up. Morgan shot back wondering if Michael was mad because he was being disrespectful of Kiki or because he wasn’t the one who tied her up. Then, the argument escalated and they started shoving each other when Michael refused to leave. Michael then said he was there because it was a matter of life and death. He then told Kiki about Danny needing a bone marrow transplant. Kiki replied that she was eager to help her baby cousin by getting tested to see if she was a match. After Michael left, Kiki was no longer in the mood. Morgan apologized and kissed her anyway. Outside, alone, Michael watched the fireworks.

In the park during the fireworks, Mac kissed Felicia while Patrick enjoyed time with Sabrina and Emma. Elizabeth and AJ kissed. Spencer saw Elizabeth with AJ and wanted to join them but Nikolas said they shouldn't. Then, he found Britt crying and admitted that he was having a bad day too. He then invited her to join him and Spencer and she agreed. Max found Milo on a park bench and they ended up eating their hot dogs together.
