'The Game' Recap: "I Love Luke...ahh!"

Malik is trying to build his new brand, Jason gets injured, and Keira has brought a new guy into the picture: can you say drama?

Lately we’ve been hearing a lot about Malik 2.0, and now the forty million dollar man is really putting in the effort to change for the better. This episode he’s trying to pick up a new endorsement. He’s had a few big names in the past and figures Malik 2.0 can earn him a new one. His manager set up a meeting with her mogul father. The two went all out for pops, invited him to a Sabers game, and even put him in Malik’s exclusive skybox. Those efforts didn’t prove to be enough. Mr. Wright’s checkered past was something he just couldn’t escape and daddy turned the two down.

With efforts to piss her father off and also prove herself, Malik’s manager seeks endorsements elsewhere. We’ll probably be seeing some future romantic escapades from this client-manager duo after this episode's steamy hot tub bit.

Hothead Tasha Mack is still upset with Jason Pitts. In the Saber’s press box she makes a comment hoping Jason gets knocked on his behind. Of course the next play Jason takes a hard hit and suffers a concussion. Rightfully so Chardonnay Pitts is saddened and worried about her husband’s wellbeing.

Tasha would later bring by a concussion survival kit to ease Chardonnay’s mind. The gift basket included some nifty products to make sure Jason was just fine. I don’t know what was more surprising, Tasha’s generous gesture or Jason’s little regard for his health and wanting more to leave a legacy on his team than ensuring his future welfare.

Keira starts a new show, and is hanging out with her co-star Luke. In the mist of her and Blue being “just friends,” so much is going on. Keira and Luke end up at her place all alone, and he’s expecting to 'do the do' but that’s far from Kiera’s intentions. She sneaks off to the bathroom to call Blue to be team diversion. Once he comes down their chemistry instantly makes Luke feel like the odd man out. But on set Luke decides that he’s up for the competition with Blue for Keira’s heart but she tells him there is none. I wouldn’t count Blue out just yet though, their bond is really strong and I myself am rooting for it.
