Kevin and Danielle Jonas made their official announcement Thursday evening that they are expecting a baby girl.
“It's a girl!!! I am so happy I been able to share everything & not have secrets it's been so nice. Thank u for all the tweets of excitement,” Danielle tweeted to her fans.
She also posted a sonogram of their baby to her Instagram which featured text at the top that said, “It’s a Girl” and a pink bow drawn on the baby’s head.
The couple, who married in 2009, made the initial announcement that they were expecting their first child back in early July, stating both their excitement and their nervousness at being first-time parents.
The countdown to the announcement of the gender at 6 p.m. Thursday proved exciting for fans of the couple. Danielle later retweeted a fan’s tweet that said, “Jonas fans crashed their app because they wanted to know the sex of @kevinjonas and @daniellejonas baby” that ended with the proud hashtag #ihelpedcrashtheapp.
Despite the setback with their app, the couple still got the happy news out on time.
Only time will tell if their baby girl decides to make her appearance on time as well. Danielle is due at the end of this year.
