NBA and reality television star Lamar Odom is missing and nobody seems to know where he is.
TMZ first reported that Odom went missing on Wednesday after his wife, Khole Kardashian, threw him out of the house after he rejected an attempted intervention. Apparently Odom has been battling a drug addiction for at least two years. He went to a rehab center a year ago but left after three weeks.
According to Sports Illustrated, Odom stayed clean during 2012-2013 NBA season when he played for the Los Angeles Clippers. However, after the season ended and he became a free agent, Odom slipped into hardcore drugs.
Odom’s family is worried that he is hiding out somewhere doing crack cocaine.
This is not the first time that the star player has had his issues with drugs. Back in 2001 he was suspended twice for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy. He seemed to get his life back on track when he won two NBA Championships and the Sixth Man of the Year award with the Los Angeles Lakers. Since then, his career has spiraled downward and there have been reports about marriage troubles.
