Peter Pilotto is the newest designer to have signed up to create a collection for Target. Just a day after Philip Lim released his line for the franchise, Target announced that Peter has agreed to partner up with the company.
According to Hollywood Life, Peter Pilotto and his partner Christopher De Vos have dreamed about putting out collection for Spring 2014. The two met while studying at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium. They will include the brand’s signature prints at a very affordable price. The line will be available on Feb. 9, both online at Target’s website and in the mass retailer’s stores in both the US and Canada. Another mass retailer company NET-A-PORTER.com has also agreed to sell the collection online so that international fans will also be able to get their hands on it too.
Kristen Stewart, Selena Gomez, Emma Watson, and Kerry Washington are among the many celebrities who have donned their collection. Their line has been known to impress with its bright and colorful prints and their jaw dropping silhouettes that will make any fashionista drool.
Fashionista.com reports that their line will include apparel, swimwear, and accessories featuring “complex prints in a signature palette of blues, greens, warm reds and oranges.” Most of the clothing line items will be availible for under $60. The total range in price is from $14.99 to $79.99 for apparel and swimwear, and $16.99 to $39.99 for accessories.
This parternship will probably rake in more revenue than others because of the online sales appeal.
In a press release, Peter Pilotto said, “By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience. And Christopher De Vos added, “This is a pivotal moment for our brand. Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone.”
