Fiona Apple has teamed up with Chiptole in anticipation of the release of their new app. The Scarecrow.
The app. based game doesn’t appear as bright and fun, but rather has a Scarecrow looking melancholy as he travels through a factory during the three and a half minute clip, Entertainment Weekly reports. In the background ‘90’s hit singer Apple is heard singing “Pure Imagination” from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
According to their website the game is set to help educate people of the dangers in processed food, animal confinement, the use of synthetic antibiotics and growth hormones.
The Scarecrow is seen looking in on chickens getting injections and cows being controlled by machines as young children and adults happily grab their packaged meals.
Finally the Scarecrow is able to find happiness picking his own vegetables from a farm which have not undergone shots and sprays. The Scarecrow makes a giant delicious burrito with the ingredients and brings it out to the city to much happiness from the crowd. A sign reading, “Cultivate the World” sits atop the shop.
