This Week In Fashion: The Plus-Size Blog

I totally believe in iron sharpening iron, so I felt it appropriate to share with the readers some of the plus-sized bloggers that inspire me. These fabulous women have inspired me with their style, some with their encouraging words, and some just with the fact that they can relate to certain struggles and can bring new perspectives to dealing with them.

Gabi Fresh
The blog I've probably been following the longest and really love is the Gabi Fresh blog. The blogger's name is Gabrielle, she's a young woman who attended school with an interest in fashion journalism, she didn't have much experience in the field so she decided to blog. With there being a lack of resources for ladies at the time, who were size 14 and up she says she decided to fill the void.
I just love that she's so versatile. She took a dream and made it a reality. She was MTV's twitter jockey and has taken her little blog, blown it up and now has made a great name for herself.

Franceta Johnson
Franceta is a 6'5 beauty from Canada. She's very funny and she doesn't hold back she is very much so real in all of her post. Being a taller woman she deals with the dilemma of having big feet. More so now women like us have options and she shares those options with her readers. Her style ranges from street wear to business wear and she rocks her natural hair very well, but also recommends readers try things outside their comfort zone.

Animated Cardigan

This blogger's name is Jess,I really love her style its sort of preppy in my opinion but very unique. I get from her a lot of ideas about rocking patterns. She shops at lot of the stores I like and some stores I hope to try soon. She's very witty and cleaver surely a blog people should check out.

Naturally Fashionable

This is one fly lady. She's a school teacher, and a wife and shares all of her work and date night outfits. She styles her own natural hair that always looks great and healthy. I think what I love most, is her confidence she had a bathing suit post this summer that inspired not only myself but many other ladies to go for it and rock a bathing suit to the beach. She gave tips like wearing a swim bra to keep girls up at the beach or poolside.
