Best known for playing the sheriff in Once Upon a Time Jamie Dornan will replace the recently dropped out Charlie Hunnam for the lead role of Christian Grey in the new, hotly anticipated adaptation of the best selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey. So far the fan reception has been good, and welcoming.
According to Variety Dornan has been a model for Calvin Klein, Armani, and Christian Dior. So the 31 year old Irish actor already has exposure which will bode well for such a sexual subject matter. Universal executives did decline to comment on the matter, so nothing is 100% locked down yet.
Hunnam did speak out about dropping out of Fifty Shades of Grey in a report to E! News he says, "I am doing good I'm just trying to stay focused and stay positive and keep trying to do a good job at work and be with my family."
