Actress Paula Garcés and her husband Antonio welcomed their first baby together, a boy named Antonio Andres Hernandez, on Wednesday.
According to People, the 39-year-old gave birth to a beautiful baby boy who weighed in at 7 lbs, 5 oz. Wenesday evening.
“After a difficult 14-hour labor, my mom had to have an emergency c-section,” said the Devious Minds actress’ daughter Skye, 21. “My brother was born beautiful and healthy, thank God, and Mom is doing well also.”
Back in July, Garcés revealed to People that the couple were to have a boy. The All My Children actress said of her husband, “He was so excited because we already experienced a baby girl with Skye."
A few days ago, Garcés blogged about her preparations for the big day, and how she spent her final days of pregnancy. The three big things she mentioned were spending time with her girlfriends, setting time aside for romance with her husband and making sure everything was all packed and ready to go to the hospital.
The most important thing for the actress, though? “I really just wanted a happy, healthy baby,” she said.
