Ciara has begun planning her wedding after her recent engagement to rapper-producer Future, and she admits that she may be a bit of a bridezilla.
"It's going to be two parts," the singer told People of her wedding plans at the People's Choice Awards nominations last week. "We're both from Atlanta and we have so many family and friends … it's going to be hard to get everybody in one place, so we're going to do a celebration part and a wedding."
She also revealed to E! News how excited she is to live out her dreams and plan her wedding. "I'm very very excited! [Just] like every girl…we think about making that dress and that moment, and being with your bridesmaids. I just can't wait to do everything, I'm like a little kid right now," she said.
When it comes to the dress, the cake, the food and other wedding details, Ciara is a bit of a perfectionist. "I think I'll be part bridezilla, I'm not going to lie," she said. "But I want to be a happy one! I still want it to be a fun process, but I want the dress to be perfect, I want the cake to be perfect, I want the food to be perfect."
Future, 29, also wants everything to be perfect, but he's leaving most of the planning up to Ciara. "He gets to have his say and then he lets me go off and do my thing," she said. "I know he's going to want the fun part to be right. We're both looking forward to it."
