Former Disney star Jake T. Austin was involved in a 4-car hit-and-run crash just a month after he was pulled over and charged with a DUI in the same car.
According to TMZ, the Wizards of Waverly Place actor was pulled over by police on Oct. 8 after driving at night without headlights. After failing a field sobriety test, Austin was arrested and charged with a DUI, with a court date set for Nov. 20.
Tuesday morning, the 2010 Audi with New York plates that Austin had been driving the last time he was charged with a DUI crashed into three cars in Sherman Oaks, California, threw a vodka bottle out the window of the vehicle and drove off before the police arrived.
Witnesses described the driver of the driver who caused the crash as a white male with dark hair, reports Hollywood Life. They further claimed that they are positive the hit-and-run driver was Austin.
Officials continue to investigate the incident. No one has been arrested as of yet.
