Recently, rapper and music producer, Kanye West proposed to girlfriend and mother of his first child, Kim Kardashian, in what was supposed to be a private moment. Unfortunately, celebrity and privacy do not go hand-in-hand.
Kanye West and, his fiancée, Kim Kardashian, are suing the co-founder of YouTube, Chad Hurley for releasing footage of the proposal according to NY Daily News.
E! News reported that the lawsuit claims that Hurley accompanied someone that was invited, but was allowed to stay after signing a confidentiality agreement, which did not allow him to use any images or video from the event.
Hurley breached the agreement, when he posted a two minute long video of the proposal on his new website MixBit. He also tweeted the video to his over 500,000 followers on Oct. 22.
So this happened last night. Congrats Kim & Kanye! https://t.co/o1FKsB87He

While Hurley may have broken a big news story, he still breached the contract and it could cost the co-founder of YouTube. The couple is seeking an unspecified amount in damages, fraud, and unjust enrichment.
