Meek Mill gives turkeys to Philadelphia residents

Hip-hop artist Meek Mill will be giving away enough turkeys to feed 600 families this Thanksgiving. The rapper, who calls Philadelphia home has organized the first of his ‘A Dreamchaser’s Thanksgiving.’ Mill announced on Monday that he is giving away turkeys at three locations throughout Philadelphia on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
*NBC 12 Philadelphia * has been following the story in an effort to notify citizens and fans of Meek Mill on where they can get a turkey and maybe meet the rapper. When announcing the event, Mill had this to say, “Philly raised me and made me into the man I am today, so to do the first annual ‘A Dreamchaser’s Thanksgiving,’ was an obvious thing to do. I’m blessed to be in a position where I can make sure that as many people as possible have a meal on Thanksgiving, so that they can be with their loved ones to enjoy the holiday.”

It is important to give thanks for all that we have, and I am proud that one of Philadelphia's own is donating his time and resources to make sure families in our city can do just that." Mill plans to make ‘A Dreamchaser’s Thanksgiving’ an annual event.
