Orlando Bloom is finally addressing his split from his supermodel wife, Miranda Kerr.
According to USA Today the Romeo and Juliet actor doesn’t seem to be too devastated from the separation.
The New York Daily News reports that Bloom made an appearance on Katie on Thursday, October 31st, where he spoke out about his split from Kerr for the first time.
During the TV appearance, the 36-year-old opened up to Katie about focusing on parenting rather than his other problems.
“We love each other,” he said. “We’re a family. We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives. There’s no question that, you know, for the sake of our son and everything else, we’re going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn.”
Despite his separation from the 30-year-old model, Bloom insists that they are still friendly. “Fortunately, we’re both adults, and we’re professionals, and we love and care about each other. And we, most of all, love our son.”
After six years together, Miranda and Orlando announced that they would be separating last week. They share a 2-year-old son together, Flynn, and have been spotted out together since the split spending quality time with him.
