Robert Downey Jr. gave his female fans yet another reason to be jealous of his wife this past weekend. The Iron Man star threw a lavish 40th birthday party for his with Susan, where she and a host of celebrity friends spent the weekend relaxing at a spa in Sausalito, Calif.
E! Online reports that Saturday night’s festivities began with dinner and dancing in a hotel ballroom and ended with a firework show near the Golden Gate Bridge.
The guest list included Justin Theroux, Jason Bateman, Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau, and Reese Witherspoon. The entire weekend was a family affair, as some guests brought their children along to celebrate.
On Sunday, brunch was served out of food trucks from Hapa SF and Bacon Bacon. Apparently the birthday girl loves her bacon. In addition to the food truck, her birthday cake was also bacon themed. According to Us Weekly, the vanilla cake was loaded with maple bacon, chocolate bacon, bacon bits, and bacon jam.
Before ending her spectacular birthday weekend, the star studded group sang Susan “Happy Birthday.”
