Top Ten Miranda Lambert Songs

Country music artist Miranda Lambert turns 30 today. The country hottie stunned at her appearance at the CMA Awards with her new, slim figure and her fourth straight Female Vocalist of the Year award.

Lambert has received awards at the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. Lambert's first album was Kerosene in 2005, which quickly reached Platinum status. Her fame continued to grow with her second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend in 2007. In 2009, she released her third album, Revolution, which brought even more hit songs. Her fourth album, titled Four the Record, was released in 2011.

Lambert married country singer Blake Shelton in 2011 after dating since 2006. In attendance at their wedding were celebrities including Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Cee Lo Green, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum, Trace Adkins and the Bellamy Brothers.

In honor of her birthday on November 10, here is a list of Miranda Lambert's top 10 songs throughout the years.

10) “Famous in a Small Town” - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007)
Co-written by Travis Howard and Lambert, this song is all about growing up and living in a small town. Everyone knows everybody, and there's no hiding secrets. The song reached Number 14 on the Billboard country charts.

9) “Mama's Broken Heart” - Four the Record (2011)
Written by Brandy Clark, Kacey Musgraves and Shane McAnally, Lambert sings of a daughter that doesn't quite live up to her mother's expectations. The song reached Number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

8) “Kerosene” - Kerosene (2005)
Written by Steve Earl and Lambert, “Kerosene” was Lambert's first gold single. The song is all about a woman who was cheated on by her boyfriend and how she's giving up on love – and soaking his house in kerosene to get her revenge. The song was Lambert's first Top 20 country hit and peaked at Number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

7) “Gunpowder and Lead” - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007)
Written by Heather Little and Lambert, this song was Lambert's first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs list. Lambert sings of her plans of finishing off her abusive lover when he's sprung from prison.

6) “Heart Like Mine” - Revolution (2009)
Written by Ashley Monroe, Travis Howard and Lambert, this song rose to Number one – becoming her second Number one hit. The song is about a woman who doesn't care what others think of her, saying that Jesus understands and accepts her the way she is.

5) “Only Prettier - Revolution (2009)
Written by Natalie Hemby and Lambert, the song peaked at Number 12 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. In the song, Lambert compares herself to the stereotypical stick-thin girl with model good looks. She proves that high school cliques and stereotypes are overrated, and being pretty is much more than that.

4) “More Like Her” - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007)
Written by Lambert, the song peaked at Number 17 on the country charts. In the song, Lambert compares herself to another woman that she competes with for a man. Although it wasn't a huge commercial hit, this song has great lyrics and great personality.

3) “Over You” - Four the Record (2011)
Co-written by Lambert and Shelton, this song is about Shelton's brother, who was killed in a car accident years ago. Because Shelton thought the song brought up too many personal feelings to be able to sing it on stage, Lambert recorded it for him, in memory of his brother. The song reached Number 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. It also won Song of the Year at the ACM and CMA awards.

2) “White Liar” - Revolution (2009)
Written by Natalie Hemby and Lambert, this song is a song about catching a boyfriend in the act of cheating. By the end of the song, though, the joke is on him, and she cheats on him as well. The song peaked at Number 2 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs list and Number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart – her first Top 40 hit.

1) “The House That Built Me” - Revolution (2009)

Written by Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin, her then-boyfriend Shelton was originally going to sing this song, but when Lambert heard it, it moved her so much that she wanted it for herself. The song is all about returning to a childhood home trying to recover all of her childhood memories that built her into the person she is today. “The House That Built Me” was Lambert's first Number-One hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and peaked at Number 28 on Billboard's Hot 100 list. Lambert also won a Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for the song.
