Daily Wrap of All Things for Jan 21: Purdue University, Lance Bass, The Beatles, and 'Full House'

Here’s our daily wrap for Tuesday January 21st:

A shooting was reported at Purdue University but a suspect has already been brought into custody. School officials acted quickly to guarantee the safety of their students by sending out mass Twitter and text messages urging students to find shelter. No official police statement has been released but students say they heard two shots.

Lance Bass is making a return to music with a new single titled “Walking on Air.” The song is sung by Australian Anise K and features Bass’s smooth. Bella Blue and Snoop Dog also collaborated on the single. The single’s cover art can be seen on the Bass’ Instagram.

The Beatles are getting a 50th anniversary special on CBS this February in honor of their first appearance on American television 50 years ago. The special, titled 50 Years: The Beatles, airs Sunday February 9th and will be hosted by Anthony Mason.

Stars of the hit tv show series Full House will be reuniting in a Super Bowl commercial for Dannon Oikos yogurt. John Stamos is already in many of the company’s commercials but now he will be joined by Bob Saget and Dave Coulier. A sneak peek to the commercial is already up on the company’s YouTube page.
