Dean McDermott enters rehab after month of cheating allegations

Dean McDermott has entered rehab. The father of five and husband to Tori Spelling has been the center of a cheating scandal since December.

"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family,” McDermott said in a statement to E! News. "I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."

McDermott and Spelling were seen at a local Los Angeles rehab clinic last week, however the couple left together by car.

At the end of last year, Us Weekly reported that McDermott allegedly had an extramarital affair with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand in Toronto. “He told me he and Tori had a sexless marriage,” Goodhand said.

Despite the allegations, Spelling gloated about her “beautiful family” on her blog just after Christmas. The 40-year-old mother has yet to comment on McDermott’s admittance into rehab.
