The pizza chain wants to attract more customers by having an option to buy by the slice.
The slices will be marketed at two stores for this week with one in York, Nebraska and Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The price per slice will be between $2 and $3 and will be ready in approximately three to four minutes, writes the USA Today as stated from the AP.
Recently, Pizza Hut has been recognized by their big meal deals. The Dinner Box and the Big Dinner Box, which both feature various food items with the idea of feeding a few to a lot of people.
They also have a $10 any size, any toppings offering that allows for their customer to be innovative and get the pizza they desire, according to the website.
Naturally, the next phase of their campaign will include a menu featuring individual slices. Whether it will be a success or a flop will be determined by the results.
Bubblews writes, essentially Pizza Hut wants to stay in the field with their competitors and have different options for their on-the-go customers.
