Sochi 2014 Medal Count for Feb. 15

The 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games have reached the halfway mark, and six countries have reached double digit medal wins. Here is the current medal count for Feb. 15.

Germany leads the pack with 12 medals, 7 of which are Gold. Today they earned a Silver from Maria Hoeflriesch in Alpine Skiing: Women's Super-G, and a Bronze in the Cross-Country Ladies' Relay 4x5 km team.

Russia now has 15 medals, 4 of which are Gold. They earned a Gold from Victor An and a Silver from Vladimir Grigorev in Short Track: Men's 1000 m. They also earned a Gold from Alexander Tretiakov in Men's Skeleton.

Canada has 4 Gold medals and 12 medals overall. They earned a Bronze from Denny Morrison in Speed Skating: Men's 1500 m.

The Netherlands have 15 medals, 4 of which are Gold. They earned a Bronze from Sjinkie Knegt in Short Track: Men's 1000 m, and a Silver from Koen Verweij in Speed Skating: Men's 1500 m.

The United States have 14 medals overall, 4 of which are Gold. Today they earned a Bronze from Matthew Antoine in Men's Skeleton.

Poland has 4 medals overall, all of which are Gold. Today they earned two; one from Kamil Stoch in Ski Jumping: Men's Large Hill Individual, and another from Zbigniew Brodka in Speed Skating: Men's 1500 m.

China has 3 Gold medals, and 5 medals overall. They earned a Gold from Yang Zhou in Short Track: Ladies' 1500 m.

Sweden now has a total of 8 medals, and earned their first Gold today in the Cross-Country Ladies' Relay 4x5 km Team.

Japan has 5 medals overall, one of which is Gold. They earned a Silver from Noriaki Kasai in Ski Jumping: Men's Large Hill Individual.

Slovenia has 5 medals overall, one of which is Gold. They earned a Silver today from Peter Prevc in Ski Jumping: Men's Large Hill Individual.

Korea has 1 Gold medal, 3 medals overall. They earned a Silver from Suk Hee Shim in Short Track: Ladies' 1500 m.

Italy has 5 medals, but have not yet earned a Gold. They earned a Bronze from Arianna Fontana in Short Track: Ladies' 1500 m.

Finland also have not yet won any Gold medals, but have 2 medals overall. They earned their second Silver today in the Cross-Country: Ladies' Relay 4x5 km Team.

Latvia has 3 medals overall, but have not won any Gold medals. Today they earned a Silver from Martins Dukurs in Men's Skeleton.
