With one more day left in the 2014 Sochi Winter Games, many countries are fighting to make it onto the board. Here is the current medal count after the events from Feb. 22.
Russia now has 29 medals. Today they earned a Gold in the Biathlon: Men's 4x7 km Relay, a Gold from Vic Wild in Snowboarding: Men's Parallel Slalom, and a Bronze in Speed Skating: Ladies' Team Pursuit.
Norway now has 26 medals. They earned a Bronze from Henrik Kristoffersen in Alpine Skiing: Men's Slalom, and a Gold, Silver, and Bronze from Marit Bjoergen, Therese Johaug, and Kristin Stoermer Steira respectively in Cross-Country: Ladies' 30 km Mass Start Free.
The Netherlands now has 24 medals. Today they earned a Gold in Speed Skating: Ladies' Team Pursuit, and another in the Men's Team Pursuit.
Germany now has 19 medals. They earned a Silver in the Biathlon: Men 4x7 km Relay, and a Silver and Bronze from Anke Karstens and Amelie Kober respectively in Snowboarding: Ladies' Parallel slalom.
Austria now has 17 medals. Today they earned a Gold and Silver from Mario Matt and Marcel Hirscher respectively in Alpine Skiing: Men's Slalom, a Bronze in the Biathlon: Men 4x7 km Relay, and a Gold and Bronze from Julia Dujmovits and Benjamin Karl respectively in Snowboarding: Men's Parallel Slalom.
Poland now has 6 medals. Silver in Speed Skating: Ladies' Team Pursuit, and a Bronze in the Men's Team Pursuit.
Korea now has 8 medals. Today they earned a Silver in Speed Skating: Men's Team Pursuit.
Slovenia now has 8 medals after earning a Silver from Zan Kosir in Snowboarding: Men's Parallel Slalom.
Finland now has 5 medals after earning a Bronze in Men's Hockey.
Tomorrow is the conclusion of the Olympic Winter Games. Bobsleigh, Hockey, and Cross-Country will conclude, and the Closing Ceremonies will take place.
