29 killed, 130 injured in knife attack in Chinese railway

In an attack in a railway station in the capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province on Saturday, 27 people were killed, and another 100 were injured after an organized terrorist group wielding knives flooded in.

Yang Haifei, a resident of Yunnan, said, “"I saw a person come straight at me with a long knife and I ran away with everyone,” according to CRI English.

According to BBC, several of the attackers were shot by authorities.

While police have not put out sketches of the assailants, several people who witnessed the attacked described them as wearing mostly black, with masks over their faces. Some said women were all part of the attack.

Pictures have been circulating around the internet of victims lying in pools of blood. Internet users have taken to the web to ask others to not circulate the pictures in hopes that it will foil the attackers ‘fame’.

Although, the authorities call the attackers “terrorists”, no group has taken responsibility, and a motive has not been established.
