A teaser for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has debuted on TV and highlights the differences between the apes and humans.
In the 30-second spot, we see Caesar leading the charge, giving motion to the teaser poster 20th Century Fox released months ago. The narrator notes how apes have advantages over humans, allowing them to eventually take over the world.
This is the first footage since a trailer debuted in December. The film was recently re-scheduled for July 11 and will easily be one of the top box office hits of the summer, as Rise of the Planet of the Apes did so well in 2011.
Matt Reeves directed the film and has been hired to make the next one.
Empire magazine recently published a collection of on-set photos, showing actors in their motion capture suits. Another image showed Jason Clarke and Keri Russell shaking hands with Andy Serkis, who plays Caesar.
