De La Soul to tour the UK

Hip-Hop group De La Soul reveals new UK tour dates.

NME reports that De La Soul will tour the UK for the 25th anniversary of the release of their debut album, 3 Feet High And Rising.

The tour will include shows in Manchester, London, Bristol, Birmingham, and more.

The tour will start in May. They will then headline at Camp Bestival, a British music festival, on Saturday, Aug. 2, at Lulworth Castle in Dorset. Other acts to perform at the festival include Basement Jaxx, Sinead O'Connor, Steve Mason, and more. The festival takes place July 31 through Aug. 3.

After Camp Bestival, De La Soul will continue their UK tour with three shows in August.

The Associated Press reports that De La Soul will be releasing a new mixtape sometime soon, as well as drop two full length albums later this year.

"We're already in the process of recording two albums," group member, David Jude Jolicoeur said before during a South by Southwest appearance. "People are still fans, still really love the music and let's do it for them."

They revealed that their mixtape will contain new music, as well as some reworked former hits. They also revealed that one of their full length albums will be recorded with a live band; Los Angeles' Rhythm Roots Allstars.
