Is an Amy Winehouse hologram going to tour?

The rumored hologram of Amy Winehouse will not be touring the world, according to the late singer’s father.

According to contactmusic.com, The UK newspaper, The Sun, reported that billionaire Alki David bought the rights to use Winehouse as a hologram just like other late performers, including Tupac, have been presented.

A source told the paper, “The plan is that Amy will finally tour the world after failing to do so when she was alive.”

The 27-year-old “Rehab” shocked fans in 2011 when she passed away after an overdose from heroin.

“With an orchestra and her hologram, she can take to the stage and fans can see her perform her legendary hits,” they added.

However, unfortunately for fans, her father Mitch Winehouse took to Twitter to say that the rumor is indeed false.

“No truth in the hologram story. Utter rubbish as usual,” he wrote.

Mitch Winehouse is in charge of his daughters rights so despite the hopefulness to see the late artist in hologram form, it most likely won’t happen.
