Johnny Depp and fiancé, Amber Heard are no longer keeping their engagement on the down low. After rumors began to circulate the two were engaged in January of this year, the couple hosted an engagement party Friday night at the Carondelet Hotel in Los Angles.
Arriving at the party around 8:30, Depp and Heard greeted their guests at 9. Famous celebrities celebrating with the happy couple included Steven Tyler, Jerry Bruckheimer, Rick Ruben, Marilyn Manson, and Ryan Adams. Also present Depp’s mother, Betty Sue Palmer, and his tattoo artist, Mark Mahoney. Guests were escorted into the party through a velvet-curtain entrance.
The crowd appeared to be much younger than older as Heard, 27, is 23 years younger than Depp, 50.
The couple met on the set of Rum Diaries in 2011 after Depp’s break up with long time girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis according to the New York Daily News . They started dating in 2012.
As previously reported reports that Depp and Heard were engaged circulated after Heard was seem wearing a ring and trying to cover it up.
