Johnny Depp indirectly confirms he's engaged to Amber Heard while promoting 'Transcendence'

Johnny Depp indirectly confirmed the engagement rumors surrounding he and Amber Heard on Monday while in Beijing promoting Transcendence.

He was asked if he was engaged considering he had a ring on his finger, following weeks of Heard also sporting a diamond ring on her own finger.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star replied, "The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle."

The AP reports he also brought up wedding plans, saying "I think that I would be better at making women's shoes than I would be at wedding planning, I can't plan anything. I'm really bad at that stuff."

Depp split with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis in 2012, whom he shares two kids with, and that same year he began dating his Rum Diaries co-star, 27-year-old Heard.

Rumors of an engagement began in January, when the 3 Days to Kill actress was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger. Earlier this month, they celebrated with an engagement party in Los Angeles.
