During the Stadium Series game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jonathan Toews made a sick, 4-year-old boy’s dreams come true.

Jonathan Toews, Captain of the Chicago Blackhawks gave Nicholas Skretkowski the time of his life. The young boy from Milton, Ontario has been diagnosed with a rare tumor and wanted the chance to meet his hockey player idol.

Toews worked closely with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and made it possible for Nicholas to skate with his hero—his one wish, as reported in My Fox Chicago

Before the game got going, Nicholas and Toews got some one-on-one action on the ice. Toews set up some passes for Nicholas as he shot for the goal.

Nicholas was even given the locker next to Toews' in the team’s dressing room. The Blackhawks gave him a personalized jersey, adorned with his last name and the Captain’s number, 19, according to CBS Sports>

The entire team made him feel at home—Nicholas even got to take a picture with the Blackhawks and have them all sign his new, perfectly fitting jersey.

That day will surely be one that Nicholas will never forget.
