A new and different art form has gained recent public interest and luckily enough, it involved the Oscars.
Tonight, The 86th Annual Academy Awards will be held in L.A. with dozens of stars attending who are nominated for the years best films.
With movies like Gravity and 12 Years a Slave up for nominations, one New York artist took his talent to the foam of an espresso to honor the awards.
According to The Huffington Post, Mike Breach is a 28-year-old artist who specializes in an form he self-named “baristart,.”
Baristart consists of creating images out of the foam in lattes and the barista definitely has a talent using only a toothpick to create the detailed faces of movie stars in the Oscar nominated flicks.
Breach told The Huffington Post that he started to create foamed images at work to avoid being bored.
“I had massive amounts of time at a lonely barista station with not too many orders,” he said.
“I passed the time challenging myself with increasingly complex designs… People really reacted to it so I kept going and here I am today.”
