Snoop Dogg has joined the line-up for the 7th annual Roots Picnic.
Apart from working on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Rolling Stone reports that The Roots will be organizing their annual Roots Picnic, with Snoop Dogg as one of the many guests.
The music festival, known as being one of the most diverse music festivals around, will take place on May 31 on the Festival Pier at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia.
The Roots will play a set with Snoop Dogg, as well as a set of their own. There will also be a special DJ set which will feature Biz Markie.
Drummer, Questlove, announced the lineup via YouTube, while getting his hair done at the same time.
According to Philly.com, past performers include Nas, Diplo, De La Soul, Vampire Weekend, and Naughty by Nature.
This year, the lineup consists of a blend of genres including performances by Janelle Monae, Jhene Aiko, Just Blaze, Electric Wire Hustle, violinist Emily Wells, and many more.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 7 at noon.
