Tampa Bay's Mike Williams was stabbed at home

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams was stabbed in the thigh on Sunday afternoon at his home in a gated community in northern Tampa. He was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital and is currently receiving treatment.

The main suspect in the case is Williams’ own brother. According to Foxsports the Buccaneers released a statement on Sunday night saying, “We are aware of the situation that occurred at the residence of Mike Williams and are working with him and the authorities to get additional information…” The team does not want to comment any further until they know exactly what happened.

This isn’t the first time Williams has had problems. According to USA Today Williams has been in trouble with the law several times and faces trespassing and criminal mischief charges. He has also been involved in multiple domestic problems.

Williams has played four seasons in the NFL and made his debut in 2010 against the Cleveland Browns.
