The Bachelor’s Renee Oteri may have been sent home after her hometown date, but she definitely won the ultimate prize – a new fiancé!
The 32-year-old single mother confirmed to Wetpaint that she is engaged to ex military man, Bracy. The couple had known each other since Renee was 12-years-old (he was even her first kiss!) and had previously dated a few years ago but broke up in 2010.
At the time they were dating, Renee was living in Massachusetts while Bracy was living in Colorado. After the split, Renee went on the show from September till October, and after she returned home, the duo rekindled their romance.
For fans wondering how Renee’s son, Ben, is taking the news, the 8-year-old has known Bryce since he was born, so they’ve already established a good relationship.
Renee received roughly a 1.25-carat circle-cut diamond ring on a 14-karat white gold band covered in diamonds, according to E! News.
“The ring is so beautiful! She’s only told a few people, but she’s so excited, and totally glowing. It’s very different and unlike anything anyone else has, because that’s totally Renee’s style,” an insider said.
The former Bachelor contestant further gushed about her happy news after posting a pic of the couple on Instagram.
“My forever,” she wrote.
