‘RHONJ’ Caroline Manzo talks new reality show and claims Teresa Giudice wasn’t her friend

Real housewife of New Jersey, Caroline Manzo, spoke with Us Weekly on April 9 about her relationship with fellow housewife Teresa Giudice and her new show.

The two housewives have been on the television series together since the start of the show, however, this seems to not have sparked any type of friendship between the two.

“She was never a friend,” Manzo told Us Weekly at the Healthcorps Annual Gala in New York City. “She was someone I worked with. Someone I knew.”

The relationship between the two had completely been broken by the end of the fifth season. The two have not been able to seem civil to one another. However, according to Us Weekly, things have gotten worse as Manzo’s estranged sister, who is a former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Dina Manzo is still very close to Giudice.

However, Manzo says she harbors no hate for Giudice.

“When I had the opportunity to work with her and be a part of her life, I tried my best,” Manzo said. “No ill feelings. My heart goes out to her and what she’s going through now. I wish her and her children peace and nothing but the best. It’s history. It’s in the past and that’s where I’m keeping it. I walked away for a reason.”

Manzo is now focusing on other projects, such as her new reality show, Manzo’d With Children, which will be featuring her three children, Albie, Chris and Lauren.

According to Entertainment Weekly Caroline will be showing viewers the typical day of a not-so-typical family.

Manzo had stated that they will be not be participating in the same amount of drama as RHONJ, but viewers will able to see different aspects of her family that they did not get to see previously.

“I think they’ll say oh, ‘I never knew Lauren was that feisty’ or ‘I never knew Caroline was that laid back.’” She explained. “I’m excited and so honored to have this opportunity! I’m shocked! It blows my mind, Thank you to the network.”
