Former KKK leader accused of murder at Kansas Jewish Centers was arrested in North Carolina with black male prostitute

A former Ku Klux Klan leader who has been accused of murder in Kansas has a troubling past, which includes an arrest in North Carolina with a black male prostitute.

Last week, Glen Miller, 73, was charged in the killings of three people at a Jewish center in Kansas City, reports WTVD-TV, which investigated his past, including how he ended up in Kansas. Miller lived in the Raleigh area and was a declared white supremacist who tried to run for governor in 1984. When that failed, he tried to run for a North Carolina Senate seat in 1986.

A year later, former federal prosecutor Doug McCullough enlisted Miller as a government informant for investigations in the white supremacist community. He got a five-year prison sentence in exchange for testifying against other leaders in the community. He had been charged with plotting to murder the leader of a group that tried to expose white supremacists.

Miller was out in three years and entered the witness protection program, receiving a new Social Security Number. First he moved to Iowa, then later to Kansas.

But before his prison time, WTVD reports that Miller was arrested in Raleigh when he was caught in the act with a black prostitute in the back of his car. The prostitute was dressed as a woman, but turned out to be a man. Miller escaped charges in that case, since the government was looking at the more serious case he was involved in.

“It was pretty shocking because of his personal stances that he had taken and what he was now accused of engaging in,” McCullough told WTVD.

Miller - who was given the name Frazier Glenn Cross in witness protection - was arrested for the April 13 killings of outside the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City, reports http://www.wnct.com/story/25331999/man-accused-in-jewish-center-shootings-arrested-with-black-prostitute-in-raleigh>WNCT. He reportedly yelled “Heil Hitler” at TV cameras when he was arrested.
