Jeff Tweedy, Nickel Creek and Janelle Monae to headline Taste of Chicago

The summer festival series are in full swing across the United States and another popular event has announced headliners. The Taste of Chicago will feature the music of Jeff Tweedy, Nickel Creek and Janelle Monae.

Billboard reported that the event will be taking place at Grant Park along Lake Michigan on July 9 to 13. The Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events announced the complete list of performers for the food festival.

Also featured as a performer during the festival include Aloe Blacc, the Wailers, AWOLNATION, Gary Clark Jr., Parker Millsap.

Taste of Chicago is free to the public but tickets for the seating area will go on sale on May 22nd. If fans wish to see the performers from the lawn, that is free for festival attendees.

The Huffington Post added that with the additional of musical headliners and celebrity chefs, last year was the first year that the festival turned a project.
