Selena Gomez signs with new management after separating from her parents

On Friday, April 18, Selena Gomez officially signed with new management after parting ways with her previous management, from her parents.

According to the Entertainment Wise, Gomez left her parents’ management saying that she “out grew” them.

On Friday, she signed with WME and Brillstein as her new management, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Her new management team will include individuals like Aleen Keshishian, Zack Morganroth and Scott Wexler.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the switch in her management was a crucial piece in Gomez’s transition into more adult-orientated works in both film and music.

After Gomez’s Disney start in Wizards of Waverly Place, she then starred in the drama Spring Breakers with other starlets like Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gomez has recently finished filming Behaving Badly, which is a comedy also featuring Nat Wolff and Mary Louise Parker. She is also has screen credits in the films Hotel Transylvania and Monte Carlo.
