Beats announces new Solo2 headphones that cater to all music varieties

Beats Electronics, a company that was recently acquired by Apple, has announced its newest addition to its line of headphones, the Solo2, which are designed to complement all musical elements of a song. The new Solo headphones are built similar to the Solo and Solo HD; however, the Solo2 headphones are built using different drivers than previous models.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the Solo2 headphones are designed for those who want to hear all the elements of a song and work well with all music types from country to heavy metal. The headphones offer a more dynamic sound with greater clarity and range.
Beats has also improved the design of its headphones. The Solo2 has a larger set of ear cups to minimize the amount of sound the headphones leak. The Solo2 also boasts a more comfort with a soft material used on the custom fit ear cups that resembles memory foam. The headband of the Solo2 is very flexible and is built to last, guaranteeing that it will mold back into shape for up to 20,000 twists, Wired noted.
The Solo2 comes in a variety of fun colors including Black, Blue, Gray, Red, Pink, and White. The headphones are available for pre-order beginning this Thursday May 29th for the usual $200 on the Beats website.
