Bruce Springsteen seems to still have his touch after he performed in Uncasville, Conn. this past Saturday at the Mohegan Sun. At the age of 64, it is amazing how he is still touring and performing his music.
Springsteen is well known for giving it his all when he performs live in concert. He works himself into exhaustion, and usually plays with his rocking E Street Band for three hours or more.
“If Springsteen was feeling any of the typical signs of aging, he certainly didn’t show it. He played for three and a half hours, barely pausing between songs,” said Leora Arnowitz, reporter for Fox News.
His fans do no expect anything less from the rock and roll superstar. People know when they go to see a Bruce Springsteen concert they are going to get their money’s worth.
It is hard to believe Springsteen will ever stop touring, but if he does, he’s done it on his own terms. The Boss will always be recognized as an important figure in rock and roll music for his incredible energy and down to earth persona.
“From that point forward it seemed as if Springsteen was hellbent on exhausting himself, the band, and the crowd, wringing out every last drop of energy, sweat, and fire for the final show on a tour that started over two years ago,” said Sarah Rodman, reporter for The Boston Globe.
