Google is working on a 3D image tablet

Google has decided to create a new tablet as part of its “Project Tango” that will have unique 3D image abilities.
The new tablet is expected to boast several features similar to the smartphone released a few months ago. The tablet will have two cameras on its backside, 3D image features, and infrared sensors.
As PC Mag noted, The Project Tango team stated their goal is “to give mobile devices a human-scale understanding of space and motion.”
Google’s only fear is that the technology will be too far advanced for current phone apps. However they are working to change that by equipping the developers with the new technology.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Google plans to produce 4,000 of its new tablets next month to give to developers in hopes that they will create apps that will support it and help catch the eye of the consumer.
Project Tango’s first project, the smartphone, has a vast amount of storage at 64 GB and a Snapdragon 800 CPU processor. It is unknown at this time if the tablet will also have these features.
The tablet is expected to release in June.
