The Blacklist is one of the best shows on television. Between the characters and the nonstop drama, it isn’t a surprise that the show was picked up for a second season. As the first season finale approaches, The Blacklist has another thing to show off. The NBC drama does have some of the best one-liners of all of the shows on television. From sarcastic Reddington to accidentally ironic Ressler, there are more than 10 quotes to make a list. These 10, however, are the ones that you’ll be saying even after the episode ends.
If you aren’t familiar with The Blacklist, stop reading this list and go watch it. Seriously, it’s that good. But, if you don’t have time, I’ll give you a little run through of the show. It stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Ryan Eggold, Diego Klattenhoff and others. It plays on NBC on Mondays at 10 p.m., after The Voice.
The Blacklist follows the story of former government agent, now criminal and traitor Raymond Reddington (Spader), who recently turned himself in to the FBI. He told the FBI that he will give them members of “The Blacklist,” but he will only work with FBI analyst Elizabeth Keen (Boone) and requires immunity. He says that the list of Blacklisters includes not only FBI’s most wanted but also criminals that are unknown and more dangerous.
As the season is finishing, it has been revealed that Agent Keen’s husband, Tom (Eggold), is actually a spy. Also, Agent Donald Ressler (Klattenhoff) isn’t as tough as he originally seemed. One question that continues to remain unanswered is the state of the relationship between Reddington and Agent Keen. It is questionable whether or not he is her father. He has said no (and I believe him), but viewers are still unsure.
